How can I get over a breakup
I broke up with my boyfriend after we got in a massive fight and he left to have sex with another girl. He asked for another chance and I said "bite me". Anyway he left and I feel really bad. Not only have I lost a boyfriend, I have lost a friend. I knew I shouldn't have gotten so serious with him, I'm really heart broken.

Goodness! A few days ago you were asking if you were rushing into things. I guess with teens the entire movie is on fast forward.

Your (not) boyfriend is a player and too young to be monogamous. Let him go, much as it hurts. We ALL go through pain with love, and we almost all go through what you are going through: go no contact and suffer horribly for a short time, or keep dragging the relationship out in slow misery? Your choice of course. But all of us old ones say go NC now. Keep busy, write it down, plan for school, go out with girlfriends... whatever it takes.

Exactly joy. THis is a very common scenario among teenagers. Primarily because they are still learning the ropes as to what relationship are and aren't, and learning the hard way what the differences are betwee love and lust... something difficult for most to learn.

You simply have to tough it out... life does go on, you do get over it, and the smart people among us... learn form every mistake we made in previous relationships. There is almost always signs of what was going to happen long before it did, and many times it was clear in hindsight they were there from the very beginning.

The best anyone can do is learn from mistakes and not repeat them. Because everyone has made them.

You need to respect yourself a little more and stop being so easy for boys. They know they can get their physical needs met being with you, while not having to do what it takes to have a relationship with you. Eventually you will come to discover that. Unfortunately sometimes mistakes during this period can lead to more children.

I do kind of miss him, I just thought he was different than all the other guys.

No 2 people are alike. Generalizing about them will hamper your life. All men are cheaters, fickle, don't care about you once they get sex? Not true. Each of us has to look at OURSELVES to find out what it is we attract and are attracted to that is similar and not good for us.
This is not to say that most all men aren't thinking about sex - they are. But some are caring and considerate and aware of the dangers, and others aren't. Your job is to know who YOU are, to know when to be cautious and when you can trust. And to like yourself enough that you don't glom onto men as a way to like yourself or to find out how likable you are.
Be alone for a while, with friends. No boyfriends. Find your sense of self, what you want out of life.
