    Replacing shower stems
Replacing shower hot & cold water stems. Cold went on w/no problem. When hot installed, still have a small stream of water from tub spout.

Question is how do the two small, white, plastic pieces, the black rubber piece (grommet?), & the white plastic gasket go into/onto the stem?

No instructions included in the packages. I did both the same way (I think!)

    Thanks! Joe

When you had the valves open did you run your fingernail around the seats to check for nicks or rough spots? This has to be checked or you will still have a leak. If you find the seats are damaged the valve will have to be replaced. Good luck, Tom
