When outlet A is working right, outlets B, C and D are fine. If outlet A is not working all the other outlets go down as well but not the other way around.

" but not the other way around." not sure what you mean here. Many outlets are in series along the same circuit, especially inside one room. If a breaker pops then all outlets on that circuit go down.
What I mean is that whenever I plug something into outlet A, I have to turn the plug to a certain angle (I know it's weird) to keep it on and when it is on all the other outlets in the room work just fine. I can plug and unplug things from outlets b,c and d with no problems. But if that which is plugged into outlet A comes unplugged or just gets off the angle it will not only knock off outlet A but the rest as well. Therefore, something has to stay plugged into outlet A at all times (with the plug turned at a certain angle of course) to keep the other outlets working. Has anyone else had such a problem?

based on your description that would be my bet...
This is dangerous, kill the breaker to this circuit. If you are a novice to electrical work call an electrician. You have broken wires or a broken receptacle which can short, cause a fire, cause injury.
Thanks for the replies, I'll replace the receptacle - hope it fixes the problem.
