How long will 3 beers stay in my system
I drank two beers on Saturday back to back then drank one more on Sunday around 11am.I did not drink the rest of Sunday or Monday. At 11:30 am on Tuesday I had a surprise drug test that will be sent to the lab.let me note it had been about 2 weeks since I drank leading up to that day on Saturday that I had those 2 beers.I weigh about 240 and am 6'1.I am on probation for a duo and I am freaking out that the lab will find etc.Like I said there was 48 hours after my last drink before the test. Its was 3 budweisers.Any help would be great! Thank you.

You might fail... all you can do is wait until the lab results come back.

3 beers will only stay in your system for 20-26 hours. You will be fine. See the study below.

Sensitivity of commercial ethyl glucuronide (ETG) testing in screening for alcohol abstinence

In the study I linked above, participants drank 2-6 drinks and had sequential ETGs done. No one tested positive after 26 hours and this was at a detection of 100ng/ml.

So if you're one of those participants than chances are you will be fine.

If you're not, than the answer is a little hazy. It depends on how quickly you metabolise and eliminate the ETG from the Beers. The chances are good that you will pass though the question remains, what if you were tested Monday first thing? Chances are you would have failed. What do you stand to lose by violating your Do Not Consume Alcohol order?

This is like trying to cheat the house at a vegas casino. You can get away with it for a while but in the end the house wins.

So I hear the 80 hour etc test is only for extreme drinking, is this true? I drank two beers back to back on Saturday then one on Sunday at noon.I had a surprise test on Tuesday at noon that will be sent to a lab.It had been 48 hours since my last beer.I didn't eat much and drank minimal water.I weigh 240 and am 6'1.It had been two weeks since I had last had a beer leading up to the Saturday I drank the beers.I have been doing research and have read that the etc will be out in 20 to 27 hours for that low of alcohol consumption. Is this true? Please help . Thanks

Just stop drinking while you are prohibited from doing so and you will never have to worry about another test. It really is that simple.

Your body will thank you. It will significantly affect you years from now in your ability to recover from an illnes or surgery,if you don't stop.

And I've personally known several cases where that happend. Minor surgery they never completely recoverd from as a result of the long term drinking damage....from over 20 years earlier. One case I know he was sober for the previous 24 years after years of being a drinker..

Re-Asking the question isn't going to change the answer.

You're not going to get anything different, that's the problem. The bottom line is that there are variables that we can't know and we're basing this upon generalized information that is available. Based on that you shouldn't have a hard time passing, but there is a chance you won't because there is no certainty.

The question that was also answered is a question you never asked but really should have. "Why am I drinking when my freedom is at stake?" That is one you can only answer. We can only assume that since your freedom is at stake there is a legal order that you don't drink. Why are you drinking? Answer that question of mine.
