What does your support order say?
As Odinn7 says... also if it specifically says as long as they are still in school, then I would talk with your lawyer, and have it ended officially through the court.
Many cases it ends at 18, or might last longer (as only one example until 21 if they are in college) Consider that covering your own butt.
What State is involved in the support order?
The bottom line is support needs to be paid as long as the support order is in effect. If you believe the custodial parent is no longer entitled to support based on the status of the child, you may need to go back to court to have it stopped. Especially if support is being collected by an agency.
If you are paying support directly to the custodial parent, and you feel it should be stopped according to the support order, then stop payments, but put them in a separate account pending a court order.
