Copper sulfate = CuSO4
Molar mass of copper sulfate = 159.5 g/mole
Thus, moles of CuSO4 in 10 g of it = mass of CuSO4/molar mass of CuSO4 = 10/159.5 = 0.063
Now, 1 mole of CuSO4 contains 1 mole of Cu atoms
Thus, 0.063 moles of CuSO4 contains 0.063 moles of Cu atoms
Hence, moles of Cuatoms deposited after electrolysis of CuSO4 = 0.063
Now, Atomic mass of Cu = 63.5 g/mole
Thus, mass of Cu atom deposited = moles of Cu*molar mass of Cu = 0.063*63.5 = 3.981 g
