I had my electrical service upgraded to 200 AMP service because I was going to remodel my kitchen and add a new washroom to the house. My new breaker sub-panel has a 24 circuit capacity but the Isolated Neutral Buss Bar has only enough lugs (lugs/screws?) for 12 circuits. I was able to locate a buss bar with 21 lugs but the screws are green. My question is, can an isolated neutral buss bar have green screws and still pass inspection? If it has green screws, the inspector will call it a grounding bar, and therefore not isolated. Have you contacted the manufacturer?

Actually, I went on the manufacturer's website and could not find a buss bar with the neutral colored screws so I looked around here locally and found the one that I now have. Thanks Missouri Bound, you've answered my question. Either, I'll have to find some neutral screws or I'll have to continue looking for the proper Buss. Thanks, again... Rob

Time out.

If this is your main service panelboard than Neutral and the Ground buss are electrically bonded together. This is the only location where Neutral and Ground can be joined.

Don, thanks for your response. No, it's actually a sub-panel. The problem that I have is that this breaker box is a 24 circuit box but came equipped with a 12 circuit isolated neutral buss bar. With the kitchen and washroom remodel that I'm doing, I've run out of spaces on the INBB to terminate the neutral wires for the new circuits that I'm putting in. I guess I'll just have to shop around to see if I can find one here locally. Thanks much for your help... Rob.
