Hi
I had a weekend away with my boyfriend recently, both days (Sat & Sun) we had unprotected sex. I would like to know if the morning after pill will still be effective?
Thanks

Yes, it may not be as effective as if you had taken it straight away, but it can still help. Keep in mind that it does not prevent pregnancy 100% of the time, no form of birth control does.
If you haven't already, discuss with your boyfriend better, more consistent, forms of birth control to lessen the chance of an unplanned pregnancy even more.
Its most effective immediately after, by 72 hours you might as well be popping a jellybean. After 48 hours... you have reason to worry because its already far less effective than if it was used as intended.
As was mentioned... the day after pill was NEVER intended to be used instead of birth control. If you don't intend on becoming a parent very soon....you need other forms of real birth control.
Don't confuse the morning after pill with the ipill. The ipill is effective for 72 hours.
