    No, the dryer requires 240 volts to operate properly. To change to 120 volts would require re-engineering the dryer.

    With a small sub-panel you can feed it with the 240 volt line and branch a 120 volt plug from it. You will have a 240 volt main feeding the box and two breakers in the box, one for each outlet, if the wire is big enough to carry both circuits' required amperage.
