    Is she pregnant.. please help
We had sex on 15 May on last day of her period, it was unprotected pull out method. She took ECP after 72 Hrs, moreover she got normal period after that on 10 June. We again had sex on 16th June, used condom. She spotted a little after that, we again met on 30 June and had protected sex but on next day she had her periods which lasted for 5 days.

She is now feeling back pain and dizziness. Is she pregnant.. Please help.

So, you were trying to get her pregnant?

Pullout isn't a form of birth control.

Having sex on her period isn't a safe time either.

If you are both so worried about a pregnancy... why are you having sex at all? No form of birth control is 100% effective... but its still far more effective than using nothing.

If she's not two weeks late for her period, then she can't even test for it. THat would be the first and only reliable indication she might be. I don't see where she is even late yet in your post.

Her first periods, after un protected sex, was just on time(normal). But again after having protected sex her periods started, mean this time she was 15 days earlier than expected time...

No I don't want to get her pregnant, that's why we decided not to have sex(protected or un protected) till marriage... Anyway is there any chance that she can be pregnant or these symptoms

    (a) Irregular 2nd period(15 days earlier)
    (b) Dizziness and back pain
    (c) headaches.

Are the sign of pregnancy or is there any other problem with her..

Until she is at least two weeks late for her next period... don't jump to conclusions. Dizziness, backpains and headaches can happen to men just as easily as women. Irregular periods can happen from time to time for any number of reasons.

The only sign of pregnancy that matters is a missed period. Symptoms of pregnancy are symptoms of many other things as well. You cannot determine pregnancy by symptoms alone.

Her period may have been off, but she got her period. When a woman is pregnant her periods stop. Some women may have bleeding during pregnancy and mistake it for a period, but it's not a period.

You did state that after the first encounter she took ECP after 72 hours. I'm assuming you mean she took the morning after pill? You guys took a big risk using it 72 hours after sex. It's less effective the longer you wait. But having said that, it can also throw off a woman's period, it can cause spotting, it can cause a delay in her period, it can cause her to have an extremely long period or a shorter period, or 2 periods in one month. It messes with your system, and it's not to be used as birth control. It's to be used for accidents only (a ripped condom, forgot to take your birth control pill, rape, etc).

If pregnancy is a fear you'll have to wait, and then test using a home pregnancy test (best to use first morning urine, and follow the directions exactly), or a blood test at your doctors office which is more accurate.

    Thanks @Alty...

Yes, by ECP I mean it was morning after pill... Ya we took risk because were afraid of pregnancy, because it was her first time...

Will do HPT in few days and pray for negative...

Your reply relieved us to a much greater extent.. But what can be the probable reason of heavy bleeding/period for 5 days after intercourse.. I mean after 3rd encounter, her periods come 15 days earlier... Is this related to Morning After pill..

The heavy bleeding could be because of the morning after pill, but no one online can tell you for sure that that's the reason this is happening. We can only guess, since we can't diagnose her without seeing her.

The morning after pill can mess up her system for a few months. The pill should have come with a pamphlet explaining the possible side effects and concerns when using it.

What was the name of the pill she took?

From what I found this isn't a morning after pill, it's a birth control pill. That means you take it daily, and it helps prevent pregnancy.

A birth control pill taken once after sex, will not prevent pregnancy. It has to be taken daily, and even then it's not 100% effective. Most birth control pills don't become effective for at least a month after you start using them. You should still use a condom even if you're on birth control pills and use them correctly.

So was it the morning after pill, or a birth control pill? There is a huge difference.

Its morning after pill, and birth control as well. Difference is how one use it. In Emergency initially one have to take 4 tabs within 72 Hrs and then after first dose 8 hours after another 6 tabs, I remember correct numbers... so she took in this way...

But for birth control, its only tablet I think in a month...
