Always possible, leagally its their right. Depends on what the trouble was and if its bad enough to make them want to.

Your probation will basically freeze, so it will hold till they get you at some point. The police can hold and detain you, while they get an answer back from the other state, if they are going to get you or not. And they can detain you, over and over, each time you have police contact.
