It looks like I'm going to have to rebuild my carburetor for my craftsman 7 hp generator, model 580.327130. When I research/google this, all I get is Sears' websites or sites that don't list this model. Sears does not sell a rebuild kit, only the entire carburetor. How/where do I go to get this kit?

When you give the model number it is for the machine. What you need to do if possible is get the number off of the motor and that should lead to your parts.

See if the carb has an ID on it. Lots of them are Walbro.

Generac made the generator for Sears, I think before Briggs bought them. Sears does indeed list only a 97747 carb. If ordered as a Generac part, it supersedes to part #0C1535ASRV and OrderTree (Dixie Sales) lists a repair kit as being a part #0C1535ESV. Try the site:
