PTO Clutch will not engage. Installed properly.

I have a L130 John Deere and having problems with the PTO clutch not working.
I installed a new clutch and still will not engage. When I get of seat while running the engine shuts off so I figure its not the switch. Could it be the wiring? Can anyone give me a answer on this.

If the clutch is working, it should "clunk" with the key on and you on the seat when the button is pulled out; engine does not have to be running. Check for a broken/bad wire near the clutch itself or in the rear harness along the frame on the right side inboard of the right rear tire.
