Ive been searching for the title of a film I saw on TV when I was a kid in the late 80s/early 90s with no success for so many years. I suspect that the film was made between the mid 60s and mid 80s, it's low budget and obscure. I can't remember much now because I was young when I saw it but it's set in some 19th century small town where a young (probably teenage) boy and girl fall develop some romance and want to run away somewhere to have a better life. I vaguely remember the boy saying something like he has 6 (or 8?) dollars saved up and they can buy train tickets with it. There is some reclusive supernatural/demonic villain in the movie that lives in or near this town, I remember his beard, and this boy and girl somehow get tangled up with him. The most vivid memory I still have of this film is a confrontation when this couple tries to sneak into his house for some reason and the bearded man discovers them there. I remember him screaming "GET OUT!, GET OUT!" over and over while breathing fire at them. I've scoured imdb.com and googled every keyword I can remember with no luck. Can anyone help me finally find this movie?
