    Change locks
Recently went to court with ex boyfriend/father of my child for who gets the apartment the judge dismissed the case dueto unlawful filing of trespassing I still had the right to enter the premises after a couple days I went back to get my things and the locks were changed I called the landlord and he stated that they didn't change it so can I report my ex to the court for changing the locks after the court ruled I can still stay there?

Did he refuse to let you in to get your stuff? Changing the locks isn't the same as refusing to let you in to recover personal effects.

The right to enter for a few days to retrieve personal property isn't the same as being allowed to live there a few more days. And you said both. Can you clarify WHICH the court specified....it actually does matter what they said, specifically, and exactly.

This is different from what you said earlier. What exactly did the judge say? If you were given a few days to remove your belongings, why didn't you remove them? If you were given a deadline and it passed, then its possible he had the right to change the locks. As I recall you were both on the lease, is that correct?

No the judge did not state that I had a few days to get my things she said that I had the same right to be there as he did she told him there is nothing he could do when it came to the apartment because he's not the landlord. I spoke to the landlord and their on the fence Don't want to get involved. He doesn't have the right to change locks on any doors

Then, take him back to court, for being in violation of the judges orders

What is the situation now? Do you have access to apartment? If not, then go to a locksmith with proof that you are on the lease have him change the locks and give the landlord a copy and mail a copy to your ex. Then go back to the court and ask that he be cited for contempt and that you be reimbursed for the cost of the locksmith.

Do not involve the landlord as they are not involved.

Also, did the judge say that he could enter the apartment while you are not there to get belongings, or did the RO restrict him from going near the apartment. If the latter, then his changing the locks is a violation of the RO.
