I saw this movie some time ago.
A well to do colored family had a young girl of marring age.
A young whitr man corted her & soon asked for her hand in marriage. They were married, went on the honeymoon. Till then he treated her well. Then turned real bad. He then took her to the south wheree sold her for a large sum. It was terriable life she had. She tried to reach her family, with no luck. A terriable life she, I think in the end she got away, I do not remember. Sorry.
