I am female, 20 years old, single and never had any sexual contact with anyone. But I feel worried because my genital area is now reddish. It started when I had my menstruation last week. I thought it was just a rash caused by my sanitary pads (because I had them before and it went away after my period) but now it didn't. I noticed that my butt cheeks also have this redness and scaly-like skin texture. I also had this thick and white discharge. I'm afraid to go to a gynecologist and very much afraid to know that I have a disease. Please help me to treat this because sooner or later I'm going to have a medical/laboratory examination for a job. Thank you very much.

Not going, to the doctor, is not going to solve the issue.

No one online can tell you, what is wrong, there are 100s of possible issues.

We know it is not sexual, if you have not had sex. But there are lots of infections and other illnesses.

So time to go to the doctor and get checked

I agree... you need to go to a doctor and find out what this is... there might be a simple quick cure to it if its identified. And you might suffer from it a long time if left untreated...

Sure it MIGHT go away on its own... but then it might not... trust me... doctors have seen so many of them its like looking at someone's thumb to them (yes I had a couple doctors I know tell me this)... there is zero shame in going, and no reason to be embarassed.
