I got a iud put in on the 6 th of last month I have always felt the string even the first time I had it this made sec time getting it but anyway Monday I no longer felt it Tuesday night I have un safe sex and now I'm bleeding like I'm on my period but I'm cramping bad and having fevers and feeling sick what could this be

The string may have moved up higher and is now difficult to feel. The irregular bleeding is not uncommon when using an IUD, especially in the beginning, but since you have a fever and feel ill as well, it would be wise to see your doctor to check for infection.
