I had a soft lump on my right ear. It was located on the tip of my ear. It is on the cartilage. It was the size of about three peas. I can feel it from the front and back of my ear but more the front. It was very sensitive to touch as it would turn red if I touched it. If I would squeeze it, it would just spread out under the skin in my ear. I went to a doctor and they sent me to a plastic surgeon. They thought it could be a non-cancerous tumour or a cyst. I went to the surgeon a few weeks later but by that time my soft lump had turned into a smaller hard lump. The plastic surgeon said it wasn't a tumour because tumours don't shrink. Also said it wasn't cyst. Said it could have been from a trauma to my ear but I didn't have any. She said it probably wasn't that because if it was trauma it would look more lumpy(cauliflower ear). I play with my ears a lot could this be the reason? It is now a lump an then a little lump beside it. I have had these weird lumps for 4 months now and they are not doing anything. The doctor said it wouldn't do anything else also. It is just a hard lump on my ear now. It kind of feels like a hard lump of cartilage on my cartilage on my ear! I really want to know what it is! Does anyone have any clues! Because the doctors said it was a mystery. Thanks:)
