If I clean a gas can previously used for diesel fuel with Dawn, will it be safe to put unleaded gas in it for other uses?

Rinse it with gasoline 2X and you don't need to use Dawn. Gasoline and Diesel are misciable in each other.

Rinse with gas and reuse.
