I had a light period before I was due to have a period, very little clotting pea size at best. Followed by after some clear discharge. I am usually very heavy flow kind of women. Not sure if I should take a pregnancy test. I am 35yr and unsure. I took a test the day before I started bleeding and it came out negative.

You may take a test now... but often it will not show correctly for 2 or 3 weeks after period is due.. ( a few women even longer) but you can try taking a test, once a week, till next period is due
