For the last few weeks I have been dreaming almost immediately when I close my eyes that someone is trying to kill me, always chasing me, I am always trying to run away and escape. At first it was my ex boyfriend who things ended very badly with but it' been 2years and I am very happy in another relationship, but now its often someone else, always a man though. I hate it because they are so real and scary that I am afraid to go to sleep at night and wake up terrified. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

To answer this would be to unlock the subconscious psyche, which is something long sought after. In a word, No. In more than a singular word, what happens in sleep can be loosely tied to what is happening in life. It can also have nothing to do with your life what so ever. It could just be something that your brain is chewing on right now. If you Google it, you'll come up with several different interpretations and none of them could be close.

There isn't really much you can do about it. You can try lucid dreaming to turn the situation around, but that might not even work. It is just how the brain works I am sorry to say.
