    I have installed a new moen shower fixture and the hot and cole do not mix
    I just installed a new moen shower/tub fixture, when I turn the water on one side of the stream is hot and one side is cold, they do not mix.

    What is my problem?

    What happens when you position handle in the middle ?

    Can you give me model number of that Moen Fixture ?

    Sounds like you might have some debris in your cartridge. The next time you install a faucet turn the water on for a minute when you have the valve open. To flush out the supplies.
    Turn the water off to the faucet, open it up and remove the cartridge. Check and remove any trash. Flush the supplies, reassemble and test. If that didn't get it contact Moen and they will send you a new cartridge for free. Good luck, Tom
