Canada border control denied me access because I was a convicted felon from the US. I am not on probation, the case was finalize in 2010 US court. I was fined only.
Since I traveled to the Bahamas without a problem.

Each nation has it own rules.. Canada Canada Eases Entry Rules for Visitors with Minor Convictions
Does not allow entry. You can apply though their embassy to be allowed in
