Either cold or hot water stop running in the kitchen sink
    Hi,
I previously post a question but I didn't have any answer, so I was browsing in the ask me help desk and I found some info but I am not sure if they can be apply to my problem which is that neither the hot or cold water stop running from the faucet in the kitchen sink . The faucet in the kitchen is the compression type.. and I was wondering if every type of faucet has the aerator and if so where is located in my type of faucet?:confused:Please I need help and... water!

I did not find the brand name(it was already here when we moved in) but it is a compression type.. I have not knowledge about plumbing so I will need for you to explain where I find the areator and the diverter in my faucet
    Thank you for your help

The areatoir's that little thingy on the end of the spout,(see image). Unscrew the aerator and check and clean the screens. Be sure to put them back the same way they came out. If theat don't get it then click on bawck to check the diverter. Good luck, Tom
