    drain leaking
My second story shower drain is leaking into my kitchen ceiling. Can it be patched internally or do they have to open the ceiling and replace drain and piping for $945.00?

Hard to determine where the leak is without seeing where it is leaking. Shower pan? Drain pipe?

What type of shower do you have? Custom tile? Plastic enclosure? There are leaks and there are leaks. It could be a leak in the shower pan. If a tile shower It could be the shower stream hitting loose tile grout and running down the inside the wall and out on the floor. Before we can help we have to know the source of the leak. Once we know that we can come up with a solution. Let us know, Tom
