Dear sir/Madam,

I have two passports because there is wrong surnames of myself and my family on old passport so have canceled the old passport. I have got the new passport with correct surname and when making new passport I changed the signature.


I had applied for Australia skill assessment (VETASSESS) and have completed the test but to finalize the result they need a formal letter from passport office as why the difference in name and signature occurred and what is correct passport.



Please suggest me how can I get the letter from the passport office.

Would not the evidence you provided the passport office surfice

I have submitted all the document to the regional passport office where I got both the passports and ask them to give me letter to prove that two passport are mine but the passport officials said they can't write any letter because there is no such law or rules in the office to write a letter or give any document for the evidence that both the passport are for same person. I have tried asking different people in the regional passport office from one month but they all said same thing.
