How to drop a drain on shower?
I live in a double wide mobile home, the master bath has a separate tub and shower. I have never been able to use the shower because the water won't drain out fast enough to keep it from overflowing onto the floor outside the shower! Someone told me I need to lower the drain pipe under the house so it would drain faster.

Sounds like you have a partial blockage. Your drain needs to be snaked. Good luck, Tom

Use a small diameter snake and remove the strainer. Once you have worked your way past the trap you will have less then 8 more feet of snake to put out. Good luck, Tom

Or there is some kind of obstruction inside the drain head itself. Lift the cover, and use flash light to look inside what's causing the slow drainage. Do as Tom suggested and snake the drain. I doubt you have to do anything with pipes. Let us know how it went. Back to you. Milo
