    What is sum of money case
    A couple owe us of money $46,000.00 and it's been since 2012. We couldn't reach them now, what kind of case do we need to file against them.

    Do I need to file the case in Philippines since it happened in Philippines? But this couple live in US.

    Where do you live? If you are still in the Philippines then file there. You file a civil case for the amount owed.

    OP could also file in whichever US state the defendant is located.
