Which film...

A woman (an oracle-type figure) in flowing black robes and possibly also with a veil over her face lies down on a table/an altar, draws a cross shape on her belly which opens and then takes an object out of it to give to one of the soldiers (modern day) standing in the room. Their mission seems to depend upon it.

No idea which film this could be from - sounds like a confused mixture of The Fifth Element, Chronicles of Riddick and Stargate, nonetheless the person remembering it is convinced that it's a film in its own right.
