We just bought a house and have been updating stuff. The old A/C finally gave up and died last Wednesday so we just bought a new Master Cool A/C that was
Installed today and the house smells strongly of urine. The old A/C didn't stink. What could be the cause? When they first started it, I smelled it, but thought that maybe it was because it was new and needed to run a bit. But I don't know if it's the norm or not.
It's the ac that uses the extra thick pads.

Urea formaldehyde glue is used in some insulated ductwork. It does smell like urine (urea). Should go away soon.
