    Pipe in poured concrete
Upstairs sink drain in poured concrete. Run pipe down into basement or hose through it to main stack?

I am sorry but I am not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you installing new drain for sink and you want to by-pass concrete slab ? Please, be more specific. Thank you...

As I understand it your lavatory upstairs has a "S" trap that was into the cement floor and you wish to bring it up to code by installing a"P" trap and vent. Am I correct so far?

if you run the drain pipe to the basement you will have to run a roof vent. If you can Tee into a stack and if there is nothing over the Tee then I would connect to the stack. Good luck, Tom
