    Three "screens" in faucet aerator??
I just installed a new Aquasource kitchen faucet, model 67353-1008D2. Sometimes the water sprays out on quite an angle. When I removed the aerator assembly and cleaned it, I noticed that there were 3 "screens" in it, one on top of another. Is this normal? Do I need all three?

    Thanks,

    Hi Bill!

Yes, you need the three screens. Here, the aerator was designed to have these three screens and thus put pressure up and on the aerator washer. If you remove one, you will have space between the washer and the threaded portion of the spout of the faucet...could cause a "sloppy" aeration of the water. Since the aerator was designed this way, I would leave the screens in place...;)
