I am an African American female, that noticed the discoloration of my vagina, it was very irritated so I got a mirror and noticed it was white. It lookes like I have vitiligo of the vagina, what could this be?

Hi ybsingle, I don't suppose you want to ask this of a dermatologist, and have one poking around down there, but I have actually heard of this before, indirectly of course. It is an anomily, nothing you can do about it, but live with it. After all, it performs the same way no matter what colour.

Can't explain the irritation though.

Mirror mirror on the... Nevermind :) Maybe your doctor or OB/GYN would be the one to ask. Changed soap lately?
