Dr. Bill, you seem to be the resident guru, I had an ETG test Tuesday at 6 pm, the previous Friday had 10 normal beers ending at midnight. Before the test drank copious amounts of water, the creatine threshold is <20 and EtG at 500. I have passed the same test after having 3 beers on a Sunday before the test. 5'9 174lbs average build. Any help would be great! Thanks.

You will probably pass but if you keep taking chances, the odds are that eventually you will fail.

You may pass for detection of alcohol, but fail for dilution. Drinking lost of water, more than is normal, usually results in a fail for diluting your urine.

What do you stand to lose if you fail?

I agree with the other posts. You are likely to pass. If your Creatinine was below 20 AND your SG was <1.005 you will fail for dilution, however.
