Water Leakage In Basement when Washer Empties
I have water coming up from underneath the basement floor. Water empties into a utility sink, and then goes underneath the basement. I can run utility sink just fine without water coming up, but when the washer empties about 2 gallons worth of water comes out. Ive tried using sealant where the pipe goes into the floor, but after letting it sit for over 24 hours water still came through. Property is a post WW2 Philadelphia row home.

I would think you have a partial blockage in the drain pipe in the floor. You also have an unsealed joint into the floor. Get the pipe snaked and see how the water flows.
