We have replaced the shower head and it still leaked. Then we replaced the stem and it still leaks. What can we do now it's really leaking and we are wating water like crazy.

Is this a one handle or a two knob shower valve? Back to you, Tom

Replacing the shower head will not present a shower valve from leaking. If you have replaced the stem and washer assembly and you still have a leak then take your fingernail and run it around the seat. If you feel nicks or rough spots the valve is bad and must be replaced. Good luck, Tom
How do you replace the valve?
You purchase a new shower valve, open up the wall behind the valve and simply replace the fittings and the valve. You are going to need tools and plumbing skills to do this. Do you need further instructions? Back to you, TomQuote:
