Hello all. I'm in a two piece rock n roll band, and we're looking into using some subtle backing tracks to just boost the choruses live. We've tried a few times using the backing tracks while I (the drummer) have a click track through the entire song.

I quickly found that I hated this, and left me feeling like I was I so restricted when we played. I've been doing a lot of research but so far have come up empty handed.

So my question is: Is there anyway to trigger backing tracks to where I don't need to be playing to a click?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
