    Piping
I have to cap off my hot and cold water piping as well as my drain in my bathroom . How would I cap off and get cooper pipe and pvc inside the wall so I can cover it with wall plate. I am a DIY but plumbing I am not a expert. Is there any videos or can anyone help.

    This is for a sink

    Thanks

please explain! You have both copper and PVC inside the wall? If you can tell me what is coming out of your wall I will be able to help. I need to know the material are the pipes for the water and the drain. Back to you, Tom

Here is what you have to do. Cut a square of drywall large enough to include the waterpipes and the drain. Save the drywall, you will use it as a patch later. Now, Back all the copper to behind the wall line. You may use copper fittings or shark-bite fittings but you would need half inch permanent's for the water lines and a Permanent cap for whatever size the drain is. Turn the water back on test connections. If you have no leaks take in that patch and patch the holes. You may now paint or install wallpaper. Good luck, Tom

If you have to hook up again simply uncap the pipes and extend them out of the wall. Good luck in your remodel, Tom
