Hi I'm 19 years old && I've been on tge nexplanon insert since march 2014 . Ive been having dark brown discharge for about 3 weeks now. I was sick so I was put on antibiotics well I didn't use protection with my boyfriend . Im really tired of this. Answers please (:

Have you been to your doctor? Dark brown is usually old blood so it could just be your uterus slough off some tissue randomly. Probably nothing to worry about. Though using antibiotics with a hormonal birthcontrol can potentially cause pregnancy. I would take a test soon. Maybe talk to your doctor about this. You should be fine, but better safe.
