Center closet floor guide to a porceline tile floor
I have a small floor guide for dual closet doors. We replaced the floor from carpet to ceramic tile. I've tries epoxy bonding and a sticky side tape to velcro backing with no success. I would appreciate suggestions to complete this project.

Diamond rill bit, variable speed drill (NOT a hammer drill) as slow as it will go, and a little squeeze bottle of water to lubricate the bit and keep it drill site from getting hot. Don't press down on it...let the weight of the drill do all the work. If te drill site gets hot...the tile will crack, so go slow. Then a pastic anchor and screw will hold the guide in place. You might get away with only two holes... one on each end if it's a one piece track.

You can probably use a regular masonry carbide bit unless the tile is very hard porcelain. Diamond would be better. Constant pressure, no impact drill.
