You could be, not using protection is the leading cause of conception after all. If you have periods that vary by a few days than this could be one of those times. With the added stress of maybe being pregnant or other life stress your period could be further delayed. Wait another week and if you still haven't gotten your period than take a home pregnancy test and use your early morning urine. That will give the most accurate result.
