It would be unlikely, although not impossible, that you are pregnant. It is not uncommon for periods to be off a few days here and there, and that wouldn't even be considered late as such. Once in awhile, some women may even be off a couple of weeks or skip a month.

If you don't have a period in another week or so, you could try a pregnancy test, making sure to follow the directions carefully. Stress may sometimes effect ovulation, which would then effect the timing of your period, but usually it would be pretty severe or sustained stress that may effect some women.

Stress and pregnancy aren't the only things that can delay a period. At one day late, not even, you're not even considered late. Even those women that always have their periods exactly on time, sometimes have an off month.

Other things that can delay a period are weight gain, weight loss, exercise, diet, medication, illness, etc. etc.

From what you said, it's unlikely that you're pregnant. But it's not impossible. Any time there's penile penetration, pregnancy is possible, even if you use 3 or more forms of birth control. But the risks of pregnancy are lower if protection is used.

I'd wait two weeks, and if you don't get your period, try testing with first morning urine. If that test is negative, wait and see what happens with your next scheduled period. If you miss it as well, take another test or see your doctor for a more accurate blood test.

    Good luck.

Due today, is not late, in fact, 2 or 3 days late is really not late... women cycle is not that exact, they unless regulated, they would normally vary by a day or two often.

Change in diet, traveling, stress, excitement, and lots more can alter the cycle some.

Condoms have a 3 to 18 percent chance of failure, and there are sperm in the early fluids, so is there a chance, yes...

Now you have to wait and see. If you are two week late, then you should test. With first urine of the morning
