    Low Water pressure
I am in the process of buying a home and I received the inspection report. It says that "galvanized water pressure drop low when faucets are on and toilet is flushed. recommend consulting with a qualified plummer for correction" Can you let me know what the problem could be?

    Thank You

    Hi Susan

It means that the pipes are old and probably crudded up a bit inside. Here, most likely, some of the water pipes should be replaced and increased in size (to 3/4") to help balance the water VOLUME available to fixtures when multiple fixtures are being used. Does it have to be done right away? No, it can wait until you settle in a bit and see how things work for you and your family.
