In what aspect do you mean?

    Physical/emotional/spiritual?
Which regligion are you asking about/in respect to?

    The question is rather vague

I don't know if you want my opinion, but I believe that God is in other people's heads.

God is spirit. God is omnipresent(everywhere), omniscient(all-knowing), omnipotent(all-powerful)
Yet He resides in all his glory in Heaven. So look up!

When God wanted to deliver His people out of bondage in Egypt, He told Moses that He will use Moses' lips.

.. . Today God is in His subjects.

I know many people believe that God is in different places... but honestly everyone's answers are correct. God is there when you first awake in the morning even as you sleep at night. He is there to see each tear fall and each smile that may arrive after the tears.

He is there with each of us in the way that we need him. When you feel the warmth of the sun on your face know that God is standing there with his hand upon his child. When you feel the breeze surround you know that God is holding you by his side. When the rain falls know that he is crying to cleanse what needs to be cleansed.

You ask where God is... listen in the laughter of a innocent child... listen to the birds singing their praises to him throughout the day and night... oh and next time you want to see where God is... as weird as it sounds look in the mirror... look deep into your own eyes and trust in the man you are seeking for and you will see what you are meant to see because we are all made in Gods image its if we choose to follow his path and his words as how much of God we see reflected in our own eyes!

    My prayers are with you!

God always moves with you. He sits beside you, under you, above you, in front of you, and behind you, although you don't see him. God is in every single person you meet on the streets, be it that rich businessman that doesn't go to church, or that cafeteria lady that goes to church daily, or even that homeless person that begs for money in front of the train station. God is in every single man, woman, boy, girl, child, adult, senior, teenager, disabled person, able-bodied person, mentally-disabled person, emotionally-disturbed person, and every dying person. God controls life, death, and everything that may happen, or not, in between. He is the start of life, he is the end of life. He is God.

As to WHERE God is... well, that's a different story...

    Quran chapter 112 verse 4
"And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

    Quran chapter 50 verse 16
"And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Knowledge)."

The Almighty as muslims believe is the One-
Who knows all things, both secret and open. He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
The Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace, the Guardian of Faith,
The Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the justly Proud.
The Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner. And He is Exalted in Might, the Wise."

For example, Muslims believe He is the All-Hearer (Al-Basir).
He hears everything, from the buzz of a mosquito's wings, to the rustle of the wind. Every conversation spoken, every thought that you keep to yourself. Language is no barrier, for the Almighty, and understands all.
To truly ponder on the majesty of the Almighty makes one humble.

As such we cannot say where the Almighty is, but we know that He does not exist among us humans but is far above and beyond us.
Every living thing we see around us, the whole universe itself is a testimony of the Almighty's presence and a sign and lesson for those who ponder and understand.

God is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. He represents what is good and just.
You will find him, when you seek him with all of your heart!

I believe if there is an outside to the universe, that is where God is.

    Look into your heart.

Personally, I don't believe in God but I do believe we all have God-like qualities. Work on those and you will do just fine.

Have you noticed that god backwards is dog! If there is a God, I think he is trying to tell us that a dog is man's best friend. ;)

Doesn't that kind of go against the definition of universe?

    I was wondering,
    What does define the "universe"?
