My ice dispenser on my freezer door is stuck on, the little plastic tab the cup presses on the dispenser to get ice broke off. I tried to remove the switch on inside that the door hits when closed but couldn't. I tried pressing the tiny button where the plastic tab was with a screwdriver, didn't work. I took the ice maker out and it is still running. The metal bar that turns the spiral inside is still turning. The plastic flap finally closed but smelled like smoke.
