Back up in the bath tub when toilet flushed
Yesterday when I flushed the toilet a significant amount of water and excrement came out of my bathtub drain. After cleaning it out there was some water in the drain that would automatically refill to a certain point. The toilet did not appear to be clogged. Online I found out that it was probably a sewage block. I plugged up the bath tub and flushed the toilet to increase pressure through the block and the small amount of water in the bath tub went down the drain. I have not used the shower or toilet since then. Do you think it is okay to use both of them now that the drain APPEARS to be loosened up? I do not have access to an auger at this point.

You are correct. You have a blockage downstream from the toilet. This can be addressed in one of three ways.
1- Pull the toilet and snake from there.
2- Snake from the tub overflow **or**
3- Snake from the lavatory roof vent.
If you need instructions click on back. Good luck, Tom
