Why do you think I can't tolerate drinking even water during the first two days of my periods ( which are extremely painful)? All the things I have ever read on how to manage period pain say to drink plenty of fluids, yet the slightest sip of water immediately increases my pain almost unbearably, and I usually go the entire two days without any water or liquid, because it is so painful to drink. That goes for any drink, including hot ones. I have mentioned it my doctor, but he just ignored the question.

Through out your cycle your body generates hormones in varying levels. At the beginning of your period the hormones being produced could be causing secondary effects which would be why your feeling sick for the first couple days of your period. It happens to many women, usually it is classified under the umbrella term of PMS. If your doctor is unconcerned I wouldn't be too worried about it. If you're still concerned, which I believe you still are, than you should talk to another doctor.
