For a commercial property can a landlord give you a 1 day notice of rental increase
I rent a space at a flea market/bazaar. The property foreclosed and the new owner gave a 1 day notice of rental increase more than 50% of the original amount.

My question is how much notice is required prior to rental increases on month to month-I live in Texas

Do you have a lease? With commercial property, the lease is more important than statutory law. However, since this is a foreclosure, its possible the foreclosure voided all leases and the new owner can arbitrarily raise rents with little notice.

Also, space at a flea market is perhaps not the same as a standard commercial lease. It's more like a license, and I don't know that regular rules apply.
