I have rejected people and I also have been rejected, I haven't had a serious or passionate relationship with anyone before. I'm confused about my sexually orientation, I'm attracted to both genders, but I can't imagine myself having a long-term relationship with someone of the same gender as me. I'm currently enrolled in college and I want to educate myself before I commit to a relationship with someone.

Interacting with people is the education. Enjoy exploring and experimenting, and educating yourself. You will know when you're ready.

Obviously you haven't met anyone that you want to have a relationship with, which may be why you're not ready for one. When you meet a person you really want to spend time with exclusively, that's when you're ready.
